Mall/ Christmas/ Snow!

   Enjoying another Monday off at the Starbucks and the mall.

    We celebrated our Christmas holiday a little early this year due to the fact that Nile had an away game on Christmas day.  SOOOOO  we got to celebrate 3 days earlier.  I am so mad at myself because I didn't get any pics of the kiddos opening the presents that santa left them but fortunately, Nile got it all on the video camera.  I managed to get a few pics of the kids at play though.

     This is for all those parents out there who struggle to get that one picture where both or all children are sitting still, looking at the camera, and smiling.  OMGoodness! Sometimes you get lucky and other times it feels like you need to take a nap after the photo session.  Well....the pictures below are Nile and I's attempts at the perfect picture.  It took tons of silly faces, songs, dancing and to put it simply..ACTING A FOOL to get it right, and after many MANY tries we finally got one! 

AND NOW.....I PRESENT......TAKE ONE THROUGH EIGHT!!!

OUR MONDAYS

    

      Monday is generally Nile's day off, soooooooo naturally our family is on the go go go!  So much for a his day of relaxation.  We make it well worth his while though. 

     The last two mondays were spent at the neighboring malls.  Can I get a AMEN?!!  I was in heaven.  Much to my surprise they had stores just like home and not just the really expensive ones.  One of the malls was an outlet mall.    Ummmm....  HELLO Coach store!

     The malls also had tons of stuff for the kiddos.  The had Gap, baby gap, Oshkosh, ToysRus, BabiesRus and so much more.  There was even a kid corner that resembled Chuck E. Cheese.  So, Mykel was in heaven also.  Nile is a little to large for the stores in Japan so he has to stick to online shopping.  However, we did locate a Japanese version of a big and tall store.  Maybe he will find his slice of heaven there.  Fingers crossed!

OITA game

  This past weekend Nile's team played the Oita Heatdevils.  The family and I went to the Sunday game and were able to visit with Kylan, Gracie, and the baby bump!  It was more than a good time.  I was blessed to be able to meet Kylan last year through a mutual friend (Michelle Palmer.)  I look forward to getting to know her and her family better and can't wait until their new addition gets here in a few weeks!!

Its kind of funny that all the kids and looking EVERYWHERE but the RIGHT direction.  SMH! :)
