TEAM DINNER

The family and I enjoyed the last team dinner of the season at the Hilton hotel.  It was wonderful!  It was a little bitter sweet because I have enjoyed this season so much and I hate to say goodbye to so many wonderful people.  However, I am jumping for joy at the thought that I will be reunited with my family and friends shortly.  EEEEEEeeeekkkkk! :)

My little cutie

So thankful for Nile's teammate, Michael Parker.  He was able to get both kids to smile and look at the camera at the same time and on the first try!

Team BBQ

I just love a good BBQ and the location was perfect.  It was right on the water.  There were two HUMONGOUS playgrounds AND a beach.  Nile's teammates put together a GREAT feast!  It was definitely a good time.

Visit to Osaka

A few weeks ago the babies and I ventured to Osaka to watch Nile's games and to visit old friends.  It took me all season to build up enough courage to make the trip by myself with the babies.  After the rough time I had traveling TO Japan with the babies, I wasn't sure I was ready to brave it again.  But....I DID IT!  We took the 2 1/2 hr Shinkansen (bullet train) and it went fairly smooth.  The trip, though extremely short, was an overall success.   It was great to catch up with the everyone, however, I completely forgot to take pictures so I borrowed some pictures from Dana.  Thanks Dana!

Mad is 8 months!

  8 MONTHS:
Weight:  29.1 lbs
Height: 32.5 inches
                        Head Circumference: 18.4 inches

He is still just as chunky and happy as can be.  He has finally completely mastered the crawl and is gaining confidence standing alone.  Mommy is still his favorite, although he says Da-da all day long.  He loves cruising and only crawls when absolutely necessary.  He is also becoming quite the food connoisseur.  He can feed himself now and that is a major plus for Mommy!

I CAN:   1.  Say Da-da
              2.  Give kisses
              3.  Sign "Milk"
              4.  Throw fits when my sister takes things from me.
              5.  Throw his arms out, when he wants to be picked up.
                                                                             6.  Dance to music

I DISLIKE:  1.  Teething biscuits
                    2.  When Mommy leaves the room.
                    3.   When my parents don't move fast enough to prepare my food.  (HE GETS SO ANGRY!)

ONE MONTH AGO.....

AND NOW.....

Getting into Mykel's things

Meltdown!!  All because Mommy wouldn't let him chew on the camera.
